Become a Master Gardner

Become a Master Gardner  Is there anyone who has contemplated becoming a Master Gardener?  It is a great volunteer program, not at all scary. You do NOT have to know everything about the horticultural world or even all the Latin (botanical) names.

What you DO do is go to a series of 10 all-day classes (one a week) beginning January 23,  on things horticultural and then agree to volunteer in one or more of the Master Gardener projects.  If you have any questions, Jane Ellison, Anne Ginn, and Suzy Hartford are all Master Gardeners and could answer questions.  (Also, Carolyn Batcheller and Nancy Stevenson from the Garden Club of Cleveland).

There was an information meeting on Wednesday, October 23 at the Mayfield Library on Wilson Mills.

If you have any questions, email the club at info@shakerlakesgc.org.
