SLGC Members Bring Home Winners from Memphis!

Cathy Miller won a blue ribbon for her butterfly pin in the Botanical Jewelry division of the Memphis Flower Show this spring. Congratulations, Cathy! Click here to see the butterfly.

Edwins Leadership Needs Cookbooks and Garden Books!

Edwins Leadership Institute is gladly accepting any new or used cookbooks, culinary magazines, and gardening books in good condition to put in the library of the newly refurbishing dormitory space near Shaker Square for the interns at Edwins Restaurant.  Edwins will arrange to pick up donations, or you can drop items off at the administrative office just across the Square from the restaurant at 13110 Shaker Square (above the Mexican restaurant, Senor Tequila). Take a Sneak Peak at SLGC’s New Web Site

Our new web site  now available for viewing, although it is still under construction.  The address is Shakerlakesgc.org.  In the ‘News’ section of the web site, you will be able to read every article that appears in this newsletter (as well as the last newsletter.)  The ‘Members’ section, which will be password protected and will contain items specific only to our club members,  is still  incomplete as of this newsletter.  When it is ready for viewing, you will be provided with the password for access.
