Across the country came 600 delegates from the 200 GCA clubs to learn more about the Garden Club of America and 400 members who volunteered to help with this meeting.

My (New) Favorite Thing

I had the pleasure of attending the Zone X Meeting in early June and discovered my new favorite thing….the city of Cincinnati! The Town & Country Garden Club treated us to two days of tours, and dinner in members' homes.  We visited Greenacres Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to generative farming, conservation, art, music and education.  Wow!

GCA Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships 2017 - 2018

The GCA Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture were awarded to 7 students for the 2017-18 school year, for a total of $18,500.  The Scholarships, named in memory of a Shaker Lakes Garden Club member, are managed locally by 3 members of SLGC, and 3 members of The Garden Club of Cleveland.  MANY thanks to the SLGC members who designated their Charitable Projects gifts to the Grosscup Scholarship.  Because of you, we are able to support the best and the brightest!
