Garden Club of Cleveland Photography Program
The Garden Club of Cleveland is planning a program “The Photographic Garden: Mastering the Art of Digital Garden Photography” on February 22, 2022, at 10:00 at the Cleveland Botanical Garden. The speaker is Matthew Benson, a well known photographer, writer, and organic gardener. His work has been widely published in magazines, books, and folios of architecture, design and organic farming. GCA Videos
As the weather gets colder and we spend more time inside, a fun adventure would be to explore the videos featured on the GCA website members’ page. Eddie Soloway was the featured speaker at this year’s Photography Conference. His talk, “Eyes Wide Open, the Joy of Nature Photography,” is inspiring and instructive. I have watched it three times and have written several pages of notes. Perhaps it will inspire us all to think about December photography in a different way.
Photography Survey
I would like to take an informal survey of our members. We have some incredibly talented and experienced photographers, as well as some beginners. What activities and experiences should I plan for us as a club that would support our different stages of development as photographers? Workshops, competitions, challenges, venues for sharing?
