Flower Arranging Sessions

During the Covid period, GCA has made available quite a few wonderful flower arranging classes online for members for free. We strongly suggest that interested SLGC members seek out entertainment on snowy and rainy days among the numerous options available at the GCA website. If you need help accessing the GCA website, please ask. These free offerings are yours for the taking.
In addition to the GCA offerings, this option (not free) from Hitomi Gilliam, one of the GCA's honorary members, has come to the SLGC's attention. It's for a series of four flower arranging sessions stressing methods of arranging that support sustainability and environmental responsibility. If you are interested, you might want to check these out!
Also, to support the FREESIA Challenge and keep it free of outside and commercial interests, Gregor and Hitomi will be presenting a series of live lectures coinciding with each of the four challenges. The Lecture Series is completely optional, but registered attendees will be treated with exciting sustainable techniques, methods, and ideas surrounding each Design Challenge. The first Lecture on the 100% Organic Hand-Tied will be streamed Live on March 8th!
