Please come join us for a morning of very casual, fun and feel-good floral arranging! A perfect event to bring a prospective member too!
Big Hearted Blooms, a non-profit organization, delivers joy through recycled flowers. They collect used flowers from weddings, special events, Heinens and Trader Joes and then repurpose them into individual small arrangements to be delivered to a chosen facility after each workshop. The small, individually and uniquely created arrangements by each volunteer are made to lift the spirits and boost the emotional health of individuals in all kinds of care facilities.
The flowers are already bagged. You grab a jar and make beautiful arrangements! You need NO experience. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling way to spend a morning. Most workshops produce about 50-75 arrangements.
Shears and aprons are supplied. They are in need of jars for the arrangements. Please save any spaghetti size jars and bring them with you!
