We Will Show You How!

Robin Schachat

First of all, each and every SLGC member can read and comprehend simple instructions, and the instructions for filling out Flower Show Entry Cards could not be more straightforward. But that never stopped me from being nervous about doing it wrong when I entered my first few shows! So let’s have a simple workshop for those who might be anxious, shall we?

Tuesday, August 29th, 10 AM, in my screen porch where the Annual Meeting was centered, the Flower Show Committee will lead us all through the preparation of Entry Cards, Propagation Cards (almost no classes involve these), and Key Cards (these are for only one Horticulture Class, and for Botanical Arts). By the afternoon that day, you will be able confidently to jump right onto the page shown below and type in your information, or to handwrite your information on a card we will give you. Bingo! Your entry card will be all completed ahead of time, awaiting the day you present your Flower Show entry at Shaker Library. Believe me, you will be thrilled to know your card is ready to go before you arrive at the bustling desk that is home to the Entry/Registration process!

www.gcamerica.org/members/flower-show Scroll down to “Entering a Flower Show”, and click on the first line, “Entry Cards.” Easy Peasy.

Please email robinslgc@gmail.com to let me know if you plan to attend.
