Dear Friends,

As we celebrate the holidays this month, I am excited about many special initiatives aimed at strengthening our club, contributing to the well-being and greening of our community and ensuring our club remains relevant both to you and in our community.

  • Shaker Lakes Garden Club Survey to be released in January: Your Voice Matters

I believe that each member's unique perspective is a valuable asset that can help shape the future of our garden club. To ensure that our activities align with your interests and aspirations, I invite you to participate in our garden club survey that will be sent in January. This brief questionnaire covers a range of topics, from preferred programming themes to communication best practices. Your input will guide our upcoming events and initiatives, making sure they resonate with you. As an added incentive to participate, one lucky winner will be chosen from those who complete the survey to win a substantial gift card from an area garden center!

  • Charitable Projects

You should have all received the request to donate to our annual Charitable Projects. Many of the projects our club has funded in the past are examples of exactly how we have made positive impacts in our community. Please see our website for a list of past projects and please be generous with your treasure and your time and help us make a difference in NE Ohio.

  • Cultivating Knowledge and Camaraderie: Greens Workshop and upcoming Members meetings

Our garden club is more than just a social gathering; it's a space for shared learning and growing connections. To that end, I hope to see you at our Greens Workshop on December 7 and at our January 30 Members Meeting on ‘Gardening for Moths’.

Your active participation, valuable insights, and generosity are the driving forces behind the success of Shaker Lakes Garden Club. I’m excited about the potential for growth and positive change that these initiatives hold, and I look forward to seeing each of you actively participate in our shared journey. Finally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your passion, dedication, and camaraderie are essential to keeping our club thriving.

Warm wishes for a joyful season,
Cynthia
