Many thanks to our Charitable Projects Committee – Jane Ellison, Robin Schachat, Martha Marsh, Jennifer Moeller, Maura O’Donnell-McCarthy, Lynn Lehmann, Margaret Ransohoff and Nancy Zambie – for their time and thoughtful consideration of the proposals we received. They provided informed and diverse perspectives, and we all felt confident and comfortable with the outcome of our discussions. $5000 Edwins Leadership & Restaurant Institute: Provide horticulture education through a program at the Grafton Correctional Institution
$4000 Nature Center At Shaker Lakes: Plants and equipment for habitat restoration and education project
$2500 Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park: Renewal of summer camper scholarship support
$1000 Boys Hope Girls Hope: Funding for summer session farm-to-table programming including horticulture and healthy eating practices
$1000 Shaker Historical Society: Funding for landscape site development at the Society
$1400 Katherine Grosscup Scholarship/GCA, as designated by individual donors
