Butterfly Magic
Have you seen Swallowtail butterflies flitting around your butterfly bush? If so, check out the parsley or dill in your garden.
You may find a happy caterpillar munching on its favorite host plant!
Keep checking your parsley and you may find that the caterpillar has morphed into a chrysalis
Peony Time!!!

Now is the time to order peony roots for spring bloom. You will plant them any time from late September till frost. Peonies may be purchased from any number of sources — even plants of yellow Itohs (P. ‘Bartzella’) in the spring at Lowe’s big box sometimes! Great prices!
Peonies are not inexpensive, but the plants can easily live for 70 years or more, and the blooms are one of late spring and early summer’s greatest delights.
